Bronze Standard
Review Waltz, Quickstep and Foxtrot
- Leaders: Be sure to rise adequately on 4-6 of Reverse Turn in Waltz.
- Heel Turns are led with 1) Rise on step one, 2) Tripod foot position on step two, to cut off lady, and 3) hip lift on step two: right hip on his Reverse and left hip on his Natural. The follower picks up the hip of the closing foot on a heel turn.
- The close on a heel turn is after the turn is completed.
- It is better to dance with your center of gravity too low than too high.
