Advanced
Two new Tango Figures

Technique
- Progressive Link for follower: Quickity-Quick
RF Back, turn feet, R heel down as L heel releases, R heel up as LF steps to side
- Stay down, especially when turning to PP and when closing the feet.
Rumba

Waltz Amalgamation (Prep step on count 3)
- Natural Turn
- RF Closed Change
- Reverse Turn
- Whisk*
- Chasse from PP*
Recommence with Natural Turn, but outside partner.
*No turn for leader, ¼ turn to right for follower on Whisk and Chasse.
Quickstep: Review Tipple Chasse to Right. Be able to dance it four times consecutively.

Four Requirements for Stability
- All steps start and end with the weight between the feet, not on a foot. (There will be exceptions.)
- Keep center of gravity low.
- Use correct/advantageous foot positions. (See book if in doubt!)
- Keep back straight/vertical.
Jive: Bronze routine
Technique
- Use the bounce action on flicks for the quickest possible action.
- Stay close to your partner and keep connections low and stable.
- Open out the hips on back rocks, especially before an American Spin
- Double spot the American Spin
Cha Cha: Bronze routine
- “Stab” the foot into the floor on every step.
- The connected hands should be as stable as if having the hands on a ballet barre.
- Keep the head and neck isolated from the actions.
