Latin Technique
- Maintain Samba bounce on every figure. For advanced dancers, this bounce should be isolated in the body, from the arm pits downward, where body action is usually focused in Latin.
- Keep the figures compact: The dance travels the dancer; the dancer does not travel the dance.
- Criss Cross Voltas should arc widely, not travel too directly down the line of dance.
